Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering with Sportily.

We’re passionate about building a network of fun-loving sport and faith groups where everyone is invited to try different sports, make new friends and explore what life is all about.

Sportily is committed to providing the best quality sports coaching, with fun and joy being at the heart of all the sessions. Our team of volunteers, coaches and leaders are vital to our work across all of our locations.

We are proud to provide excellent, well supported volunteering opportunities for everyone who serves with us, investing in training and development and doing all that we can to ensure everyone in our team is able to use fully utilise their gifts and skills.

As a member of the team...

  • You’ll have the opportunity to get involved in everything that we do, in a way that suits you.
  • You’ll help us deliver high quality sessions that enable children, young people and/or adults to play sports, take part in physical activities, make friends, talk life and/or explore and encounter the Christian faith with others.
  • You don’t need to be a qualified coach or sports professional, you just need to be willing to get stuck in helping everyone to give it a go.
  • You also don't need to be a church-going Christian, just someone who can support our values as a faith based charity.

If volunteering with us, to help us realise our vision is something that excites you and you believe that you have the skills, experience and motivation required, we would very much like to hear from you.

Speak to your local Sportily team member, or email joinus@sportily.org.uk for an application pack.

Sportily is committed to increasing the diversity of participation in sport and physical activity and recruiting and developing a team that reflects the communities we serve. We welcome volunteering applications from all sections of the community and actively encourage applications from women and people from UK Minority Ethnic backgrounds who are currently under-represented in the organisation.
Sportily is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. All volunteers are expected to share this commitment, to work within the policy and procedures of the relevant safeguarding policy and are required to attend all relevant safeguarding training.
All volunteering appointments will be made under CofE safer recruitment framework, however you do not need to be a member of a Church of England church to join the team.
